5 top ways to save money
5. Get out of your car payments. Sell it, but a cheap car like a 92 Honda. Not only will you get better gas mileage, but your insurance will go down. This will probably save you a cool 400 dollars a month minimum, which means more money for double cheeseburgers.
4. Get rid of your cable/Satellite. With the new digital TV available, you are able to get around 8 to 10 channels for free. If you have any other favorite shows, just watch them on Hulu or go watch the game at a friends house/Red Robin
3. Drop the minutes on your cell phone, get a Voice over IP like magic Jack or Skype, and save about 50 bucks a month in phone bills.
2. Don't eat out. Biggest waste of money, and usually it isn't very good. Pack a lunch.
1. Don't go to the newest indian casino in your area. They aren't losing, thats why their casinos are getting bigger. Try you luck on owning gold or silver, but stay away from the black jack tables

Going up the Down Staircase
Dear Friends,
I’m not trying to be the Grinch who stole Christmas. There are so many issues that the incoming president must deal with and it is easy to loose sight of some issues that can out weigh others. I did not vote for Obama because of one issue that in my view out weighs all others, but because of the crush has been put to the bottom of the pile of things to do. So do not get me wrong for me it’s not a case of sour grapes. As a matter of fact I listened to his inaugural address and his recent press conferences and I think he does quite well. But……
Take heed. “No one can ascend unless he first descends.” John 3:13. This incredible scripture in a nut shell tells an incredible story that we must take heed to in light of the newly elected president. Now that the hoopla begins to subside, we can get a glimpse into what we can expect as we have witnessed the unsettling action to solemnize the Presidential inauguration with a placing of a “God Bless” the United States of America on the conclusion of the ceremony.
One of the first acts that President Obama seeks to accomplish is to rescind, and lift a rule that prevents federal money from going to international family planning groups that counsel women on abortion or perform the procedure. President Obama’s coming repeal of the abortion aid policy is one of the several executive actions he will soon implement after his inauguration as he seeks to lift the ban on abortions.
Abortion by most conservatives is viewed as an moral issue, but the reality is that it is a “spiritual” issue. If you have been following my messages you would have known that I have very strong views on this issue. It is clear that the cycle of life is a key element of understanding we can find in the book of James. But the common conservative belief of the interruption of the cycle of life does not go far enough, it does not transcend to the level that I hold to be true.
“We must all descend before we can ascend even the son of man.” John 3:13. What does this mean? We all as humans have to come into human form before we can ascend. It is part of “the judgment” on the human race, and the process each person must go through to be redeemed. When a human life is aborted that persons chance to ascend is cut off. Abortion is an evil strategy of darkness to interrupt and extinguish the “time and chance” opportunity for that individuals transcending. This is a spiritual issue that goes far beyond the conservative moral indignation. This is an attempt by the forces of darkness to abrogate spiritual life.
While abortion is a convenient and human rationalized way in facilitating birth control it is a serious violation of the purposes of God. It is an interruption of the cycle of life and the call and mandate to transcend. How can a person transcend if he is dead on arrival? So, I ask you how can we glibly say, God Bless the United States of America? What greater issue I ask you, is there then the redemption of the human race? How can God Bless that which runs in contradiction to His purposes?
As the nation rejoices and regales in its “new hope,” I find myself unable to participate, while I sit in quiet repose, reflecting on what may soon come down on us.

The Revolution of Agape
Perhaps we can be a generation that thinks of others before ourselves and learns to give its life as a ransom. It has already been proven that it only takes 12 to change the course of history. Who wants in?

MERRY NEW YEAR

2009. Crazy. I can't believe I graduated from high school almost 14 years ago. Dang. Nothings better than getting old. I have never found myself entering into a year like this one. It seems as if it holds great promise for the people of God. So many friends are having children, others are getting married, and it just has the feel that something very new is on the horizon. Blessings to all.
Peace

Merry Xmas
To be politically correct, I pinched this from a good friend,
Best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced with the most enjoyable traditions of religious persuasion or secular practices of your choice with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.
I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year of 2009, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make our country great (not to imply that Canada, USA, Mexico is necessarily greater than any other country) and without regard the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.
By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms:
This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting.
It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/him or others and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. The wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher.
The best of the holidays to everyone,
